CORPORATE BLOG PERSONAS
On the eve of Microsoft's half a billion dollar push of it's latest operating system Vista, I checked the Microsoft blogs page that I'd bookmarked for some time now, to see how Microsoft was talking about Vista.
Looking at the site got me thinking about how the personality of companies come through their corporate blogs, assuming they support them, just as it's true for people who blog.
As an example, check out the three aggregation pages for their company blogs by Microsoft, Google and Yahoo!
Some pretty stark differences pop out, that seem to match the generally perceived "personalities" of the companies spot on.
As a bonus, also check out the closest thing Apple has to a corporate blog page, to my knowledge.
