ON VERY HAPPY GLOBAL NEW YEAR'S

HERE WE GO AGAIN

It's a bit surreal to be waking up to a New Year's morning here in Mumbai and watching the countdown clock to the ball dropping in New York's Times Square .  Only 18 minutes, 28 seconds to go as of this writing on the CNN show hosted by Anderson Cooper. 

It's 10:09 am on the first of January, 2007, here in Mumbai and the streets below are already teeming with purposeful masses on their way to work on a sunny Monday morning here in India.

The morning TV shows here are already running endless recaps of the New Year celebrations that have already occurred from Sydney, to Seoul, to Paris and London.

But it's watching the live show from New York that tugs most at our heart strings.

Wish all our friends and family a very Happy New Year back home.
