SLOW AND STEADY
Google Finance has released some new features today that are worth noting. The site was first launched earlier this March, and was a great first release in my book.
You can see what's new here, and there's a lot to check out.
My favorite is "Autosuggest" for stocks. It works as follows:
"Autosuggest
Unless you're blessed with a photographic memory, remembering stock symbols can be cumbersome. So we now offer Autosuggest. Whenever you type in a company name or a stock symbol, we'll instantly suggest what you might be looking for."
It's a feature that I've long wished for in Yahoo! Finance, which I've used for many years now.
The new Google Finance is worth checking out.
MP-
The autosuggest is old actually- I mean I saw it quite some time back, probably when it launched finance.
GF has also been good for blogs- they were the first ones to link to my blog and each time I write about XYZ, the link to it depending on how old it is. Similarly YF did a deal like this with SA after noticing this, same goes for interactive charting.
