ON A "GADGET" SITE FOR WOMEN

EQUAL TIME

A few months ago I highlighted Uncrate.com as a gadget site to check out after you'd been to Engadget and Gizmodo.  It still remains one of my regular gadget sites.

Well, the folks behind the site now want to provide an "Uncrate" to women. 

There's a new site called Outblush that focuses on things that apparently are to women what gadgets are for guys.  Categories on the site at the moment include Fashion, Home, Beauty and Life.

I just found it today and haven't even gotten my wife's opinion.  But it looks promising in that there are a few things on the site that I'd show her at the next opportunity.

Nice sites MP!

IMO- what's so good about the men's site, which has also been replicated with a few touch ups at the female site, is how clean and concisely everything is presented.

No flashing ads or pop-ups in your face, no extending to ends of the page's width and most of all interesting daily dish on various topics.

I really like the site design of both uncrate and outblush, although outblush is very similar to it's predecessor, delight.com.

Whoever is doing the style picks for outblush does a good job though, for example, their kitchen selections are products that are popular and sell well. (I used to work in e-commerce selling kitchen products, so I know a little about that world...)
