RE-INVENTING THE WHEEL
This is pretty cool...a bicycle wheel that adds an engine to any bike...240 miles to the gallon apparently, for an add-on that likely will be priced at around $400. More on Techeblog:
"...RevoPower — a motorized replacement bike wheel that “takes standard two-stroke fuel, the same stuff you fill your lawnmower with, and will add 15 pounds of weight to your bike.”
They've even got a YouTube video showing the thing in action.
Put it on a Unicycle, and you've almost got half a Segway, saving $4400.
Not available until next year though, so we'll have to be patient.
is that cool or what?! ultra light, efficient and inexpensive!
This is such a perfect model that I doubt if it needs even future enhancements!

Wow! Stunning mechanical feat!
Not nearly as beautiful are the kits you can buy and mount to any sturdy bike. They add about the same weight, get the same milage and go as fast as 20mph.
