COOL CASE
I know there's a whole mini-industry around cases for every generation of iPod out there, and that the dollars involved are in the hundreds of millions. Just look at the results for "iPod cases" on Google.
Until now, I've ignored this entire category of product thinking that getting a case for your iPod is a bit of an extravagance.
That was until is saw this version courtesy of Luxist.com:
"If buttery soft leather iPod cases don't do it for you, you could always go the opposite route, carbon fiber. This video iPod case is made from real aerospace carbon fiber, aluminum, and stainless steel screws. The case also includes a stainless steel belt clip, a protective clear film screen protector, and assembly tool (for screwing the case onto your iPod I assume). The video iPod case sells for $49.95."
And what does this product look like? Here it is, for both the Nano and the fifth generation video iPod.
Pretty high-tech and geeky looking, if you ask me.
The site that actually sells these things can be found here.
Kind of what Neo from the Matrix would use, you think?
have you already tested the silicon cases? they look like shit, but scratches have no chances :)
