MORE WI-FI TO GO
A few days ago, I raved about one of my long-time favorite travel gadgets, Apple's Airport Express, which is a portable Wi-fi access point that you can use to set up an ad hoc wireless network while traveling.
Wireless maven JK posts on a solution from Linksys (now owned by Cisco) that seems to have the profile of the Apple product (more or less), but costs less than the Apple solution (doesn't have the music streaming functionality of the Apple product as well).
It looks like a pretty good alternative to the Apple product...I've ordered one, so will report back after I've had a chance to field test it.
Costs less...
And probably takes 50 times longer to configure and maintain.
A lot of stuff that supposedly costs less ends up costing you a lot more in my opinion.
