Funny you should mention this, Michael. It has become almost a ritual for me to go into Task Manager (simpler way to do the same thing you're doing, which is to right click on the bottom taskbar and invoke the Task Manager) and systematically kill all of those silly utilities that I want to run sometimes, but not start at startup, to keep the system RAM for the programs that I do actually want to run. I'd want to have some control on some of these programs that obnoxiously start at startup but don't!

So, I empathize with your predicament.

As for a lapse in short-term memory, it's most likely due to a lack of quality sleep, which I know something about these days. Get enough sleep and you should all set with that!!
