HONDA HILARITY
Two of the most creative auto commercials of late have come from Honda, in my humble opinion. Now, thanks to YouTube, we have easy access to both the commercials, and some creative spoofs inspired by the originals.
First up is the famous Honda commercial many of you may have already seen...it's a touch over two minutes long and worth every second.
That's inspired the following spoof:
Then there's the famous Honda "Choir" commercial, also about two minutes long:
With it's attendant spoof from the UK:
But Honda shows that it has a sense of self-deprecating humor as well, as seen in this 30-second "Platypus" commercial:
And if you liked that style of commercial, you'll love the half-minute "Pinch" one as well:
I'll end this "homage" to Honda commercials with this one and a half minute bit, where Honda makes a point about the love-hate relationship with our cars, while pushing it's Diesels:
One can't help but like a car company after a few of these.

Great stuff, but in the end accepted as great becaus ethe product is great.
All the amount of creativity out of GM and Ford on ads would not make them truly viral other than mockery.
By the way, the new Lexus commercial where it parks for you is a complete joke. I dont think I trust my car to park for me. Bizarre feature addition.
