ON GOOGLE'S GMAIL OUTAGE

NEED...GMAIL

(Update:  GMail seems to accessible again, a day after this post.)

Well, contrary to the reports of a widespread outage of Google's services in the Northeast, I'm experiencing one here in southern California. 

Over the last couple of days, I've been having intermittent problems accessing my Gmail account, first just using a Firefox  browser on a Mac (Safari would work).  But as of early this morning, I can't seem to access my email over Google on any PC or Mac, regardless of which browser is used.

Doing a quick search on Google, Yahoo!, Technorati, etc., leads to these reports of sporadic outages in the Northeast, but none outside that area.  The reports indicate problems being restricted to subscribers of Comcast in the northeast, and that these problems were hardware related, and fixed.

However, I'm experiencing problems accessing Gmail (and only GMail), over Time Warner Cable (formerly Adelphia) in southern California.

So wondering if anyone else outside the Northeast and/or using other ISPs, is experiencing these problems, or if mine is an "isolated" case.

I had some problems getting into Gmail around 11:00am EST but now everything is working fine!

Oh I'm in Toronto, Canada though!

I've been able to access it only once since yesterday evening and I'm in Europe (it's the afternoon here), so it looks like a generalised problem

Cant get to gmail from Northern Cal using either earthlinkDSL or CovadDSL.

This is becoming a very widespread problem.
